About Jamison Narbaitz

Jamison Narbaitz is a founding partner of Atheria Law, a law firm providing legal counsel to global insurance and reinsurance clients. Acting as coverage and monitoring counsel, he represents London Market and U.S. insurers in connection with errors and omissions, cyber, media liability, privacy class actions, and intellectual property claims. He also leads the firm’s coverage litigation practice. He has over two decades of legal and insurance experience, including with litigating coverage actions in federal and state courts on behalf of policyholders and insurers. He has significant experience with many insurance products, including CGL, commercial property, business interruption, EPL, E&O, and D&O. He has written and spoken extensively on issues involving insurance law, civil litigation, and dispute resolution. Jamie serves on the Executive Committee of the Insurance Practice Section of the Bar Association of San Francisco (BASF) and on the Committee for the Northern California Chapter of the Professional Liability Underwriting Society (PLUS). He holds the Certified Privacy Professional in the United States (CIPP/US) designation from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). Jamie is a member of the California State Bar and is admitted to practice before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States District Courts for the Northern, Eastern, Central, and Southern Districts of California. He has been admitted pro hac vice to practice before federal courts in Oregon, Washington, Nevada, and Delaware. In 2015, he was seconded to a managing general agency (MGA) that writes cyber, technology, media, and management liability coverage on behalf of Lloyd's Syndicates. Early in his career, he served a secondment as deputy district attorney with the Marin County District Attorney's Office, successfully convicting in five jury trials. For nearly a decade, Jamie volunteered as a Judge Advocate General (JAG) officer for the California State Guard, providing legal counsel to soldiers before, during, and after deployment, and discharged honorably holding the rank of Captain. He is President of the Board of Directors of the non-profit San Francisco Basque Cultural Center and is a member of the Olympic Club (San Francisco). He is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and Boston University School of Law.
