About Jamuna Shrestha

A Well qualified and experienced a development worker having nearly 25-years experiences in the different field of development sectors. Holding two Master degrees, one is MSc. International Health and the other is in MA in Medical Anthropology from Heidelberg University, Germany. These two degrees, along with Leadership, management and coordination positions that I have held during my professional career have provided me with significant theoretical and practical skills for the development sectors. Since I have invested most of my knowledge and skills in enhancing the quality of life of marginalized people from low and middle-income areas, I have particular strengths in leading the programme and mobilizing team in an effective manner. My other competencies lie in project management, organizational development, monitoring, evaluation, human resource management, and inter-agency coordination including the capability to work on any kind of situation for the programme betterment. I also have experience with various research methodologies. I have special interest to ensure the right of children and women and youth rights through one door policy with the concept of system straightening and sustainability approach. I also have experience with various research methodologies. Further, I have a very good knowledge and skill in developing a project proposal and writing reports along with conceptualizing different types of IEC/BCC materials with very good command in English and Nepali languages. I have a very good knowledge and experience working with the government and its action to make programme effective.
