About Jamye Hunter

Hi, I’m Jamye Hunter — an Army Reserve CPT, Associate Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (ALMFT), Life Coach, and Founder of Jamye’s Journey LLC. I specialize in supporting individuals through life transitions, mental health challenges, and personal growth journeys — especially those within the military and service-connected communities. With a dual degree from Northern Illinois University (B.A. in Human Development & Family Sciences and M.S. in Marriage & Family Therapy), my work is grounded systemic thinking. I have a minor in Psychology and Military Science. I contribute over ten years of Army experience into my work and want to integrate more into the military population. I also have served as a Direct Support Professional, offering hands-on care to individuals with developmental and behavioral needs. My mission is simple: to meet people where they are and help them move forward with clarity, confidence, and compassion — whether that's in therapy, coaching, or community support.
