About Jan Antons

I have over 20 years of experience working in Information Technology. In July 2022 I joined New Gold as the Supervisor of IT. Before taking on this position, I worked at BCLC as a Vendor Management Specialist and as the assistant manager of Office System. In this role I led the identity and access team as well as the core systems team that was responsible for the back end infrastructure like Microsoft Exchange, Citrix, Sharepoint, Exchange, Azure, O365, MDM device management and many more. I’m truly passionate about my work and always eager to connect with other people in the industry. I am a strong supporter of sports and strongly believe in giving back to the community. As a board member of many community groups, I have learned how important it is to be involved in the community you work in. I have an Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the Haskayne School of Business of the University of Calgary and a Diploma from the Thompson Rivers University.
