Nuclear engineer, experienced energy professional with a deep understanding of the challenges of development of power plant projects, including nuclear new build. Currently partner and chairman at NucAdvisor, a consultancy powered by high-level European nuclear energy professionals with a wealth of experience and expertise in power and non-power applications of nuclear energy, covering the complete nuclear value chain. Founder and senior adviser at Calogena, the company developing a small modular reactor for district heating. Previously executive at ENGIE (ex-GDF SUEZ) working in different executive and business development positions related to the development of power projects- 2015-2018: Corporate Director of Nuclear Development, overseeing and representing ENGIE’s interests in the NuGen project in the UK and the Sinop project in Turkey- 2014-2015: Lead developer of the Sinop nuclear project in Turkey- 2011-2014: CEO of ENGIE Indonesia, development of thermal, geothermal, hydro and other renewable energy projects in Indonesia- 2008-2011: business developer at ENGIE Asia: development of 3 geothermal power plant projects in Indonesia. Prior to that, I worked as expert then project manager then Director at CORYS (world leader in simulators for power and transport industries). I worked on the development of nuclear and conventional power plant simulators in Central & Eastern Europe and Asia, managed large simulator projects in the power and rail sectors. I started my career as researcher at the SVUSS research institute (Czech Republic) on various nuclear safety topics and then at the French Atomic Energy Commission (CEA) on the development of the French best estimate thermal hydraulic safety analysis codes. PhD in Thermal Hydraulics and an MSc in Nuclear Engineering.
