Experienced Marketing Director with 20+ years of creating and implementing strategic marketing plans and events. Skilled in creative problem solving, multi-tasking, streamlining processes, and leading teams to project or program completion. While raising two children, helping my husband build his landscaping business and managing rental properties, I was also focused on my career. Most recently, I shifted my career toward sharing my Marketing experience with college students. However, I miss team collaboration and having a role in strategy development. I taught Marketing 201 and Professional Development to talented and bright college students at The Modern College of Design. In this role, I managed several classrooms creating the class curriculum, taught both in-person and online classes, and assisted students in any way necessary to help them be successful. I also lead Student Senate for the college and work as part of a team to mentor students for the NSAC (National Student Advertising Competition). Prior to teaching, I was the Marketing Director at Pickrel, Schaeffer and Ebeling. What started out as part-time (3 days per week) role dramatically increased throughout the years. Working with a team of 23 attorneys, I created a strategic marketing plan to market individual areas of practice and market the firm as a whole. This included developing branding guidelines and go to market strategies. Strategies included but was not limited to managing all firm external communications including social media, website, press releases, newsletters, and blog, and leading all firm internal and external events. One event that was spectacular was the firms 100 year Anniversary Celebration - with over 1500 in attendance - a very rewarding experience. I also became the "go-to" assisting staff and attorneys with software, managing all job postings, and help with anything with else throughout the firm as needed. I have excellent PC skills, VERY organized, and over communicate, I'm very detailed and I love working as part of a collaborative team but I'm also very comfortable leading a team to success- Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint - WordPress, Wix - Constant Contact - Google Meets, Zoom, Microsoft Teams - Social media: Facebook Ads, LinkedIn, Instagram - Canva - Google Analytics - Canvas I am a firm believe in "strong body, strong mind". In my spare time - I love going to the gym. I have been a strong supporter of the YMCA for nearly 20 years, volunteered with their Strong Kids campaign.
