About Jan Cornelius

I am an engineering manager and process oriented, innovative fluid systems engineer, focused on membrane filtration systems design, manufacturing, and implementation. I was Vice President of Engineering at Scinor Water America through January 2019, helping to introduce these high quality TIPS PVDF membranes to the US water market. My previous position was with Hyflux Ltd in Singapore from October 2013 to October 2014, leading the Systems Design department, consisting about 45 managers, scientists, engineers, and designers in Singapore and India. I was with Pall Corporation in upstate NY for 24 years, focused on fluid filtration systems, and was instrumental in growing the engineering side of Pall's water business from start-up to being the market leader. I led the filtration systems New Product Development group at Pall for last 6 years. I've grown and managed engineering teams of up to 18 direct reports. I am skilled at, and really enjoy, mentoring and developing younger staff. I have a BSME from Cornell University, am a registered PE in New York, and have PMP certification from the Project Management Institute.
