Background

About Jan Dreyer

I’m a Chartered Accountant (SA) and Global Finance Manager with over 10 years of experience across FMCG, insurance, and public-sector finance. I combine deep technical accounting expertise with a strong commercial mindset—translating financial data into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions, profitability, and operational performance. My career spans global and regional finance roles, business partnering, financial modelling, and internal control enhancement. I have a proven ability to connect the dots between technical reporting and business impact—whether supporting commercial teams with pricing strategy, guiding CapEx planning, or aligning accounting treatments with KPIs and stakeholder expectations. I hold a Master’s degree (Cum Laude) in Business Management with a quantitative thesis focused on financial decision-making. I’m passionate about continuous learning, data integrity, and helping businesses navigate complex accounting challenges with a forward-thinking, value-driven approach.
