I am a lifelong learner and educator. I have devoted volunteer time to three boards and one guiding team over many years. Port Alberni Craft Association, Indigenous Adult and Higher Learning Association (B.C.), AV-FASD Board, and the Indigenous Skills 4 Success Studio (The Studio), B.C./Yukon. I coordinated and taught at a independent, First Nations Adult Ed. Centre for 11 years. I moved on, providing similar duties at our tribal employment and training centre. I served citizens and communities in the nuuchahnulth, west coast region for over 7 years. In 2014, I moved into private practice. Presently, am a tutor, post secondary instructor, facilitator for Skills 4 Success, and a coordinator for special projects within the nuuchahnulth Studies Department at an independent, First Nations school. On my personal time, my self-care includes beading and weaving. My spirit is grounded in nature and exploring creative, cultural expressions and connections. My husband and I live in Port Alberni. We support people on their healthy paths through personal conversations and work in community.
