About Jan-Eike Eckardt

I translate my in-depth knowledge of tax law into practical solutions for my clients and support them at the complex interface between corporate and tax law. My focus is on the national and international structuring of corporate groups and income tax planning advice. I provide comprehensive advice on all aspects of corporate tax law and represent my clients in external audits as well as in appeal and court proceedings, either to ensure that the desired substantive legal solution is accurately implemented in tax assessment or to obtain other relief for my clients, for example in cooperation or enforcement proceedings. My many years of in-depth experience in tax procedural law help me in this regard. In addition, I work as a lecturer in tax law and teach courses on key topics such as income tax, corporation tax, the taxation of partnerships and corporations, and tax procedural law. In my role as an author of professional articles on tax law, I contribute to professional discussions and share my knowledge of current developments in tax law.
