I have 17 years experience in Accounts Payable. In these seventeen years I have worked with high volume and low volume accounts payable positions managing all aspects of the accounts payable process. Including but not limited to opening invoices and processing them which included researching the invoice for prior payments then using the proper general ledger coding before entering into the accounting program for payments, bundling and issuing the checks once the invoices are processed. I was promoted to Supervisor of the Accounts Payable department and managed 13 employees during that time. I have been involved with the Accounts Receivables department from time to time as well. I have also taken on the position of Receptionist while working in Accounting as well.
