About Jan Grau

I always approach design having in mind the final user, functionality, performance, and aesthetics, to create solutions that are not only functional and tailor-made to the user needs, but also visually pleasing and with a good performance. I like to follow research and ideation methodologies which will allow me and my team to have a clear path in the process, and result in a user-focused product that solves a real problem. With a long previous experience as an Industrial Design Engineer and as a Craftsman, I have a broad vision of the design and engineering field, allowing me to understand products from the conceptual and strategic spectrum, to their fine technical details for production. Thanks to having traveled around the globe as a Project Engineer, working with different types of clients and suppliers, I can quickly adapt to different work environments and methodologies.
