Examples of competences: • River modelling, groundwater modelling I have worked on a large number of river modelling projects ranging from simple steady state modelling of smaller river systems to fully dynamic simulation of flooding. Software tools used so far are Mike 11, HEC-RAS and self-developed steady state models. For groundwater modelling, the models used so far are Mike She and MODFLOW. • Software development, numerical analysis, and data science From numerous software development projects I have gained in-depth expertise with numerical solutions of differential equations, development of river models, groundwater models, water management models, time series analysis, GIS and DEM analysis, using technologies such as Python, C#, C++ and Fortran. • Communication and dissemination Anything can be explained to anyone if you truly understand the issue yourself. I have always seen communication and dissemination as a very essential and appreciated part to my work. I have worked as associated professor at Asian Institute of technology in Bangkok, been teaching at the technical University of Denmark, provided workshops about river hydraulics for local farmers and been teaching mathematics and physics at high school.
