About Jan Grmela

You know, starting a business is kind of like riding a unicycle – it's unpredictable and thrilling! Okay, maybe not quite that extreme, but I genuinely enjoy jumping into new adventures and pushing myself outside my comfort zone. Whether it's trying out the latest tech gadget or launching something entirely new, I love the rush of learning quickly and embracing the unknown. Fun fact: I’ve created my first website in 1998. Netscape Navigator-only, of course. It’s still live to this day if you know where to look. I've worn a lot of hats over the years – from startup founder to account manager, CTO, and even director of manufacturing in a microbrewery. Each role has been a journey, filled with its own unique challenges and rewards. Right now, I'm the Head of Product at Hyponamiru.cz and Banky.cz. Working alongside our hybrid development team, we're cooking up innovative fintech solutions that are making waves in the industry. On top of that, I've also dived into public service as an elected council member and financial committee vice president in Brno-Zabovresky city district.
