About Jan Hamilton

As a Law and Business Lecturer at Fife College, I have been developing academic and curricular provisions for over thirty years l. I am passionate about creating engaging and effective learning materials that cater to the needs of students and employers alike. I also have experience in pastoral care and personal development of students, ensuring they reach their full potential. In addition to my teaching role, I have worked as a Developing the Young Workforce Advisor, where I collaborated with schools, colleges, and employers to create pathways for young people into vocational education, employment, and higher education. This experience has given me valuable insights into the importance of integrating employment skills into the academic curriculum and fostering partnership working opportunities. I hold a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Diploma in Legal Practice from the University of Dundee, as well as a Diploma in Energy Economics and Environment from the University of Copenhagen. I am committed to continuous learning and professional development, and I am always eager to explore new ways to enhance the quality of education and training.
