About Jan Hendricks

I am heading the Strategic Asset Allocation and Asset Liability Management at Generali Deutschland. Before I have worked in various responsible positions gaining deep expertise of the insurance industry with focus on financial topics. I have more than 14 years of business experience. Besides ALM & SAA, in which I also cover further parts of the investment value chain up to the implementation of asset strategies, I am also engaged in the operationalization of the Strategic Plan. I am working closely with the CIO and other board members also in the international group context. My team and I deliver excellent results on our 60 bn investment portfolio with a pragmatic approach based on strong analytical and diplomatic strengths. I have also gained deep knowledge of business development and business steering as assistant to the CFO, as head of advisory services and within Group Controlling. Cross functional working across the entire organization and keeping track on financial performance delivery, turning financial targets into reality, is at the core of my skill set. My functional skills involve strategic planning, analytical structuring of complex topics as well as leading in transformation phase.
