Jan Holtfreter, has 30 plus years of professional experience in the construction industry which includes 10 years in the field, and 20 plus years in upper-management. I have worked with KB Urban (“KB Home Inc.) for the last 11 years as Director of Construction, focusing on the building of urban infill, high density and LEED communities. At KB Urban as Director of Operations I managed all high density construction operations, I also assisted the land acquisitions team, solicit General Contractors, prepare project budgets, review and approved all G.C. change orders, oversee each project operations with KB on-site Project Manager and General Contractor, review all change requests (RFI’s), prepare and manage project budgets, schedules, review cycle times, managed third-party consultants, reviewed all shop drawings, evaluate options, inspect project quality, and incorporate project closure and final summaries with third-party consultants. I also assisted and managed with the design of Primera Terra @ Playa Vista, which is a LEED Platinum project (3 over 1) luxury for-sale condominium. This was also KB Urban's first self-preform type 5 multifamily Platinum LEED building. I was responsible for and managed, buy of contracts, KB staff, subcontractors activity, 3 party consultants and inspections, interacted with city departments and officials. Prior to my long career with KB Urban, I have experience in multiple disciplines within the construction industry, 19 story poured in place for sale community in Marina Del Rey CA for Goldrich and Kest, Lawry’s restaurant for Keller Const, Beverley Hills Hotel and Beverley Wilshire Hotel for Peck/Jones My experience is very well rounded, from Commercial, Retail, Hospitality, Residential, and Colligate
