About Jan Husar

I am an optimistic person who likes to enjoy every day. That's why I follow my dreams, fulfil my wishes and face the challenges of my life. When I was 23 I had a chance to study in Germany for one year in HFU Furtwangen and this experience changed my life. I discovered bonuses of staying abroad where I have learned much more stuff and much faster than in Czech Republic. Since that time, I have traveled a lot. I spent two months in Mallorca working in gastronomy. Eight months in FTZ Leipzig, Germany, at HTWK University as part of an internship. Three months as a volunteer in eko-villages in Russia. I was working as a Field Service Engineer for international company Beckman Coulter for an almost two years. I was focused on hematology, urine anlysers, Flow Cytometry and centryfuges. My work consisted of preventive maintenance, service, installations and every day support of the customers. Then I switched back to the automation which was the focus of my college studies. Now I work as a vision system specialist for an automotive company. This job involves good knowledge of optics, programming and a lot of patience and creativity which is crucial for finding the right solutions in the fast pace of automotive industry. My everyday challenges are to solve problems in the production, optimize the vision system or to design a new one. I cooperate closely with Quality Engineers, Process Engineers and Production Maintenance. Besides, I got some basic knowledge of PLCs and robots, which is very useful for camera programmer. My experience so far has strengthened not only my work skills but also my personal skills. I am not afraid of speaking foreign languages. I can understand cultural difference. I know what means to be independent, reliable and social. I enjoy international company, I like getting to know new things, people, cultures and languages. My technical skills: Vision system (Cognex, Keyence, Sick, Balluff), basic knowledge of PLCs (Siemens, Beckhoff) and robots Epson, Service of medical devices, PCB design.
