About Jan Malina

After completing my studies at college SPŠE in Pilsen, I continued my education at West bohemia university FEL commercial electrical engineering. In June 2006, I successfully passed the state examination and the following month I decided to travel abroad. In the UK, I had the opportunity to work for UK mail while attending English language courses. After passing several tests Cambridge ESOL I returned to the Czech Republic. After the return in 2008, I succeeded in a tender for the position of process control engineer in the company Integrated Micro-electronics Czech Republic (earlier EPIQ CZ). The job description for this position includes many very interesting activities. For example, the soldering process control (control of critical parameters and stabilization process, training of technicians), improving process efficiency (cost reduction and process optimization, reduction of downtime), implementation and development of a new process and equipment (defining technical requirements), industrialization of a new product (identification of critical parameters, control and modification of PCB design, prototype production implementation, building working instruction), quality improvement process (QRQC, PDCA). While performing these and other tasks, I had the opportunity to visit the company's branches of Integrated Micro-electronics in France, Bulgari, Mexico and Philippines as well as various types of professional seminars and trainings in Europe (England, Netherlands, Germany, Hungary) and overseas (USA). In 2011 I was promoted as a process engineering manager responsible for managing a team of process engineers in the company Integrated Micro-electronics Czech Republic. In 2015 I accepted new opportunity to work for ZF TRW systems in UK where I was resposible for a team of SMT engineers. After 15 months in ZF TRW I joined Asteelflash as an engineering manager responsible for maintenance, project and process department.
