Ms. Jan Marshall is an independent director, executive coach, and information technology consultant. She is the Audit Committee Chair of Peckham Industries and a Governance Fellow of NACD.Ms Marshall is an accomplished executive focused on the alignment and effectiveness of Information Technology organizations in companies. As an Affiliate at The Feld Group Institute, she provides executive coaching of CIO’s and their leadership teams, and transformation leadership, consulting and guidance. Ms. Marshall served as Vice President of Technology and Chief Information Officer at Cubic Corporation from 2014 to 2019, leading the company through a business and IT transformation. She served as Vice President, CIO at Southwest Airlines Co. from 2006 to 2012 as Southwest transformed their financial platform, rewards program, website, mobile capability and social presence in the industry. Her responsibilities included leading Southwest's Technology Applications Portfolios and Infrastructure groups. Before joining Southwest Airlines, Jan was a Vice President for EDS/The Feld Group. Her Feld Group consulting engagements included large clients in Transportation (including Southwest Airlines), Consumer Goods, Financial Services and Manufacturing industries in the areas of building IT strategy, applications development, program management, methodology, system level architecture, as well as organizational and governance processes. Ms. Marshall’s career has been one of leadership, company transformation, delivery and results.
