About Jan Matejovic

Creativity, critical thought, engagement, deep learning, mentoring, social capital, inclusion. These are just some of the things I bring to my teaching practice. Who wants to go into a boring learning environment - I don't. Learning should be engaging, fun, yet meaningful and authentic. Through the experience of having taught and trained thousands of individuals and groups, I know how to make the process of learning and teaching memorable. And therein lays the magic: bringing together diverse learners, via technology and good old-fashioned face-to-face interactions and have them, through social engagement with each other, create, critically evaluate, and demonstrate their learning. In a barrier-free way, my mission is to enable students to become deep, critical thinkers, ready to take on this world's unique challenges.
