I am an inspirational resilient Leader, who is experienced, energetic and a champion of the reputation of the NHS. I pride myself on being the ‘change I want to see’ I have a strong, proven track record of achievement in both operational and senior Nursing roles, widely acknowledged for my effective delivery and appropriate communication and engagement style by patients, clinical teams, executives, board members and commissioners. I work hard to break down perceived barriers between nursing, management and medical staff ensuring that the patient remains front and centre and that we work as one seamless team to achieve objectives. I work collaboratively and communicate well at all levels; I am confident and inspire teams to connect with me as an authentic leader. I have a focus on continuous improvement as a way of delivering services that are safe, patient centric, high quality, cost effective and make a positive difference to all users. I see myself as a guardian of tax payer’s money with the responsibility to deliver the expected service. I strongly believe in the benefits of positive staff engagement and development to deliver strategic objectives therefore having a positive impact on patient services. I have been working as an executive Director at Board level for several years although remain grounded and aware of the ongoing challenges across all levels of the NHS.
