I am a versatile software and data engineer with extensive experience across the entire software development lifecycle including architecture. My expertise lies in DevOps and Big Data, where I thrive in leading teams to develop and operate robust data processing solutions. With 4 years of experience as a Product Owner and Application Manager at Deutsche Telekom, I have been responsible for the architecture, implementation, and operations of the core framework of a Big Data platform based on Cloudera Data Platform, and later, the implementation of equivalent solutions for Google Cloud Platform. My technical leadership skills are complemented by hands-on experience in data processing and software development. Prior to this role, I held various software engineering positions, gaining exposure to a wide array of technologies, libraries, and tools. I am a quick learner, always eager to embrace new challenges and technologies. While my recent focus has been on Big Data, I am also open to transitioning back to the development and operations of operational IT systems. I believe that engineers should strive to close the gap between operational IT systems and data processing systems - it means that data processing and data products should be treated as any software product by following best software engineering practices.
