Franchisors work with me to help them avoid the silent killer traps that lurk around in franchise systems and hold back success. These silent killers result in common issues like - Poor franchisee participation and engagement with your strategies and initiatives - Not being clear and rigorous about the people you recruit into your system- Not getting sufficient ROI from programs and initiatives because of poor takeup. If you struggle with some of these problems, the chances are that there are silent killers lurking around. The fact is if you can’t get franchisee buy-in, to your strategies and initiatives, it holds back success, it’s as simple as that. Persuading and cajoling them to embrace new initiatives sucks up time and slows you down. In 2013 I embarked on a 7 year PhD research study to find some answers. The participation and engagement issue is widespread in franchise systems throughout the world, but it turned out that poor participation and engagement is just a symptom. We need a cure, and through exhaustive research and support from my team, I discovered 5 essential elements for success in franchising that prevent the identified silent killers from causing harm. I was so passionate about this cure that in 2020, I decided to focus most of my time on turning the success formula into a book and self-paced learning and coaching program because this is a formula that I wish I had when I started out in franchising 25 years ago. Our program is designed with the essential ingredients that achieve learning, action and lasting results. You work through at your own pace, we have interactive coaching clinics and a communication “hotline” where you can ask questions, share challenges and get feedback on your action tasks. We have one-to-one coaching and access to our live community group so you can share wins and interact with your peers. There is also a Coaching Accelerator Program and a Group Program that franchisor groups use to work through implementation of the success formula concurrently as a team.
