I have been fortunate to live the American Dream: I first came to America for an exchange year in high school, and I fell in love with the country, the outstanding educational institutions, and the fantastic opportunities to build leading businesses. Playing on my high school’s varsity football team, attending leading American universities, and earning my MBA from Columbia University solidified my intent to build my life and career in the US. I love to meet founders and managers, and help scale businesses together. At the firm I founded, Alimus Capital, we have a proprietary approach to value creation that focuses on investment talent, implementing a wealth creation plan for the team, building out a scalable back-office infrastructure, investing in sales and marketing, steering international growth, and driving M&A. I have been involved in $3.9b of investments during my private equity career, including the companies Revature, White Cup, PDH Academy, Tour de Force, Xella, QMH, ArenaTurist, Eismann, and Powerlines. My proudest moments are when I see companies I have invested in and people I have supported succeed. I look back, with incredible pride, at the management teams, friends, and colleagues, whom I have supported through their success. Some have built successful small and large businesses. Others, whom I had a chance to train became successful investors, bankers, or executives. I have always been passionate about investing, economics, and growing companies. It feels more like a clear science than art to me. I have endeavored to learn as much as possible, through Value Investing at Columbia during my MBA, a B.Sc. Economics from the London School of Economics (LSE), the CFA, and internships in public and private markets. But you are never done learning. Markets and some of the legendary investors are great teachers in so many ways. I live with my wife and two children in New Jersey. In my free time, I enjoy running, aviation, and golf.
