About Jan Tschida
After finishing secondary technical high school, I entered the military to serve. While engaged at Austrian Armed Forces at the age of 19, I had the idea to start my own business producing high quality chili sauces. Founded in 2011, I let my dream become reality and started creating the first products and find new markets. Since then, I am striving for the best and most delicious creation there is. As a Techie, I also started to study Mechanical Engineering at TU Wien in the very same year. After my Bachelor's was almost finished, I decided to take a step forward and applied for an International Master's Programme in Sweden. After I got accepted, I moved to Stockholm in August 2015 for two years to follow my Master's Programme in Production Engineering and Management at KTH Stockholm. My focus now lies on Tschida Tschili and producing outstanding chili products. In 2024, we received 4 Awards at the Scovie Awards in Albuquerque, NM, USA showing the quality of our products.
