About Jana Bauer

I was a young teenager, wearing a surgical gown and sterile gloves, peering down upon the surgical field of a canine patient as my boss described the anatomy. The sights, sounds, and smells in an active OR are unique, and I was simply fascinated by the process. Since that first day assisting in surgery in a veterinary office, I have never looked back. My passion for learning about medicine has been a driving force throughout my life and has led me down the path of Registered Nursing. However, I also value being a well-rounded individual with a variety of skills and interests. My philosophy - learn one new thing every day. Being a lifelong learner has led to me acquire numerous skills and experiences, from professional content writing to medical team management, teaching and educating, and offering humanitarian relief. I seek to bring a unique perspective and a level of excellence to any job or task that I am involved in.
