About Jana David

Music and entertainment marketing are my passions! I am pleased to be a Media Studies graduate from the University of Guelph-Humber, specialized in Media Business. I am a Senior Coordinator, Social & Digital for MusiCounts. In my final school year, I completed my internship with Warner Music Canada, responsible for curating Topsify playlists across various digital streaming platforms, emailing marketing managers to promote artists on playlists, booking monthly Spotify ads and organizing new music releases. I interned at Golin Toronto. I was apart of two final student projects for EMERGE: the Marketing Makeover Challenge and “EMERGE News NOW” for EMERGE Magazine. I was the primary lead for creating a marketing strategy for two of Pantera Press’ books releasing towards the end of 2021 and I was the social media producer for ENN. Additionally, I have volunteered at events such as the JUNO Awards, FANEXPO, Toronto International Film Festival and more. And if that’s not enough, I have managed and operated two non-profit music artist fan bases online for Toronto and Canada that has been recognized by Universal Music Canada.
