About Jana Loock

I am working at one of the leading digital agencies in Germany, which is part of the worldwide operating Serviceplan Group. Since over two decades hmmh is influencing the developments in letting boundaries disappear and enabling connected commerce. Ever since I started working, I am driven by the passion to use innovative ideas to help people enjoy their every day life. It started, when I was working as a side job in hospitality during my studies. I always tried to give the clients the best experience. This involves a high level of communication skills, especially in delicate situations, but also involves optimizing processes to react flexible to the variety of people’s needs and thinking of new concepts. During my studies I discovered my strength in strategic and analytical thinking. It became clear to me, that I always had tried to see the whole picture to be able to make better decisions. When I was studying abroad social media came up and since I was on another continent, I was happy to stay in contact with my beloved ones at home, but to also keep up with the life of my new friends in the future. This is when I thought of how social media could be helpful for brands, too. I decided to work at a digital agency starting in the area of strategy and planning. I enjoyed analyzing markets, brands, challenges, trends and behaviors and putting all the different pieces together to find out about chances and individual digital strategies for companies. Always having the customers’ needs in mind. I also learned a lot about the struggles companies have with ever-changing digital transformation. The experience I got, led me to my actual position at the digital agency. For my work the right balance between mind and body is essential. That’s why I like to workout physically. As a former competitive athlete I still love hard training sessions. I also love travelling, because getting to know the world I live in is one of the most precious things to me.
