About Janae Ferrell

Professional protective security officer with 9 years' experience. I am a graduate of Morgan State University's Earl Graves school of business. My job duty entails structuring and overseeing a team to ensure the safety of the public and government officials who work, travel and visit our building for official business. The skills required to be successful in my field are emergency management, force protection, weapon usage, physical security and most importantly customer service. These skills have become proficiently integrated as a part of my professional makeup, which allows me to not only be a highly skilled public servant but a highly skilled worker. Since my college career, I have always had a passion for branding and marketing. This passion has lead me to focus on freelancing in event planning, logo design and website design for various clients. Freelancing has given me the opportunity to apply my skills in these areas at a professional capacity. I pride myself on being organized, detailed and being a person who works well with others as well as independently. My current goals are to finish matriculating and receiving my MBA from University of Maryland University College. Also, to add more layers to my network of like-minded professionals who see themselves as I view myself: A person who is destined for success.
