About Janai Moore

As a business student at Northern Virginia Community College, I am eager to learn and apply my skills in the sports marketing industry. I am currently an intern seeking to build my skills in video editing and sales. Previously, I was a junior event coordinator at Pure Freedom Ministry, a nonprofit organization that empowers teenage girls through musical shows and workshops. I traveled to 23 states, trained and supervised hundreds of volunteers, and managed the lobby and marketing materials for 68 shows. I also created and published a personal podcast,"The JNJ Show", to share my experiences and insights from the ministry life on the road. Additionally, I have a background in childcare, where I obtained CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications and provided personalized care and attention to children of different ages and needs. I am a self-directed leader with a versatile skill set, including problem-solving, inventory management, multitasking, and customer service. I have proficiency in various software tools, such as MS Word, Instagram, and Facebook, as well as Point of Sale (POS) systems. I have also completed multiple certifications in sports marketing, which is one of my passions and interests. I am motivated by the opportunity to make a positive impact on people and society through innovative and creative solutions.
