I am a specialist in all areas of employment and immigration law and have an excellent reputation for partnering with my clients to achieve practical solutions to their problems. I provide a prompt and efficient service, working with my clients to pro-actively manage their issues. I have over 15 years' experience at Paris Smith, acting for both small and large companies and individuals. I have a broad range of experience including advising on unfair dismissal and discrimination claims, redundancy situations, disciplinary and grievance issues, absence management, performance management and settlement agreements. I support our company commercial team in relation to the employment aspects of buying and selling businesses, including company reorganisations and TUPE. I also draft and review employment contracts, directors' service agreements and company policies and procedures. I advise on a range of business and personal immigration issues, including sponsor licences, visas under the Points Based System (e.g. Tier 2 visas for skilled workers) and partner visas. I am a member of the Employment Lawyers Association and the Immigration Law Practitioners' Association and present seminars and training to both managers and HR professionals on a wide range of employment and immigration issues.
