About Jane Boardman

Jane Boardman is an author and one of Australia’s most experienced executive coaches with 17 years (over hours) full time experience as an executive coach. She is the coauthor of the coaching book ‘In the Moment Coaching for Leaders’ and is an expert in having “coaching conversations” and in facilitating and training others to have coaching conversations. Jane has facilitated a number of Commonwealth Government leadership programs including “Leading Small Teams” and “Leading Teams” on behalf of the Australian Public Service Commission and “Managing High Performance”, “Managing Marginal Performance” and “High Impact Feedback” for the Attorney-General’s Department. She was a co-facilitator on the Department of Defence, Intelligence and Security, 3 day Leadership Program. Jane facilitated the “Learn to be an Effective Coach Program” for Commonwealth Government Senior Executive Service staff on behalf of the Australian Public Service Commission and delivered “Manager as Coach” programs for the Department of Climate Change and Energy Efficiency, the Department of Health and Ageing, the Australian Electoral Office and the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet. These programs focused on developing a manager’s ability and skills to have effective coaching conversations and building an effective coaching culture. Jane is also on the faculty of CoachU, one of the world’s largest coach training companies providing coach training worldwide by teleclass. Jane holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Australian National University, a Graduate Diploma in Professional Communication and an Australian Institute of Company Director’s Diploma. She is an internationally credentialed Professional Certified Coach with the International Coach Federation (ICF). Jane has provided executive coaching in most government departments and in the private sector to CEO level. She has facilitated a broad range of leadership development, performance management, team building and career skills development programs.
