I'm a Policy Insights Manager and Principal Science Advisor - Farm Systems and Environment with over fifteen years experience in industry. I am a thought leader in sustainable farm systems and their environmental impact (emissions to atmosphere and water). I have experience and trusted expertise in climate change, New Zealand’s GHG emissions profile, and the agricultural sector’s ability to both adapt to climate change and reduce emissions. I have extensive experience project managing teams involved in the collection, analysis, and interpretation of on-farm farm system and environmental data in a variety of forms and using a range of modelling tools. I am an experienced communicator with farmers, iwi agri-business, catchment groups, government and regional council staff, scientists and industry. I have the ability to distil complex scientific information into a format that is easily understood by non-scientists. I have extensive agricultural industry connections across multiple groups that cover areas of science and research, national and regional policy, farm consultancy, farmers and Industry Groups.
