About Jane Clements
My family values set me on the road to where I am now. My parents are hardworking and from a military background, which involved lots of travel and no fuss. This shaped me to be robust, unflappable and hardworking. I was fortunate to move into Nursing in the 80’s, where the focus was on giving back, truly caring for people (something I have demonstrated since I was a small child) and where we were strong advocates for the patient and their family/whānau. We utilised our comprehensive clinical knowledge and expertise. Compliance has in some way diluted this focus, however, I feel I can bring this approach from ‘80’s nursing style into today when training our team, candidates and our clients. My approach with everyone personally and professionally is the same; bold, down to earth, fun, mischievous and straight up. Fundamentally, I believe in humanity – business is not just a commercial transaction. I have aspirational plans to help grow the people within our sector through innovative projects and scholarships – watch this space.
