Currently employed by the NHS at Leighton Hospital in Cheshire (UK) part-time in admin for the cardiology team. Very busy role but rewarding, and a great team to work with. Previously worked at Leighton Hospital employed by Retain Wellbeing CIC, and latterly for Cheshire West & Chester Council, I co-ordinated the safe discharge of patients from hospital into the care sector. This involved communication and close interaction with the NHS teams, care and social sectors, and patients and their families to assist with the most suitable discharge pathway for the patient. Having worked in the rail sector for over 21 years, my previous role was as an experienced Rail Accident Investigator with Network Rail, qualified to undertake Level 3 Formal Investigations, with a demonstrated history of collaborating with various companies working within the rail sector, the Rail Accident Investigation Branch (RAIB) and the Office of Rail and Road (ORR). Other areas of experience in the rail sector include performance management and earthworks asset management. Skilled in Railway Operations Management, Feasibility Studies, Rail Network Performance, Contract Management and Earthworks Asset Management. I am a professional with a Diploma in Railway Operations & Management (CIRO) from Glasgow Caledonian University and a B.Sc. in Geology from the University of Derby.
