Envisioned, created and then owned my own Organic Food store in Shepherdstown, WV for 11 years before retiring. Was then persuaded to become a temporary interim House Director for a sorority at UC/Berkley, California because of my property management experience and people skills gained from previous jobs. Managed a Career Learning Center for the United States Information Agency (now reabsorbed into the State Department federal agency/Washington, DC) that provided training for employees in computer skills and also provided guidance for resume management skills to advance in their government careers when applying for new postings. Assistant Manager and Teacher in Kofu, Japan for a company that taught English as a second language. HR Supervisor of an America West airline reservations call center in Baltimore, MD. Also worked as a realtor in Maryland, specializing in residential properties.
