I've worked in the Public Relations field for over 30 years. Currently, I serve as publicist for Gray & Company, publisher of regional books. I've actively promoted local books such as "Joe Tait; It's Been a Real Ball" by Terry Pluto and Joe Tait;"Feagler’s Cleveland" by Dick Feagler;"Cleveland Ethnic Eats" by Laura Taxel; and the Milan Jacovich mystery novels by Les Roberts to name a few. In my role as publicist, I've secured newspaper and magazine cover stories and features; prime time radio and TV news coverage; talk show appearances; excerpts, book reviews, and online coverage for each of Gray & Company’s books. Due to my efforts, many of these titles have become #1 bestsellers. I also served as publicist for "Cleveland For Kids," a not-for-profit book project sponsored by the Cleveland Cultural Coalition. In addition to raising funds for the printing of the book, I coordinated all publicity and marketing efforts resulting in the sale of almost copies locally. I've also worked in the corporate Public Relations sector, employed by major Milwaukee and Chicago firms specializing in restaurant, entertainment, and business accounts. I've consulted on public relations for several large health organizations including the Wisconsin Heart Association and Chicago Lung Association and have served as an event consultant for the Rouse Corporation (parent company to Beachwood Place, Baltimore’s Harbor Place, and other high-end retail malls). Termed by authors and clients as “tireless,” I love what I do and only forget about my public relations projects when I'm sleeping and on vacation!
