Jane Marke, MD is a psychiatrist in private practice who is skilled in a variety of treatments for people suffering from emotional pain and symptoms. She is particularly skilled in short-term psychodynamic techniques, psychopharmacology, as well as integrative techniques and complementary interventions. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Integrative and Holistic Medicine. She is comfortable caring for people with concomitant medical illnesses, people with histories of trauma, and people suffering losses and depression from various life events. Dr Marke uses talk therapy techniques that are psychodynamic, attachment-based, cognitive, and empathic, as well as EMDR, SE, and mind/body techniques. She uses pharmacological interventions from medications to neutraceutical supplementation. She is also skilled in interfacing and teaming up with the medical doctors of patients who are going through serious or complicated medical illnesses. Dr. Marke has particular expertise in helping patients with Lyme Disease, from diagnosis through early treatment and helping coordinate complicated treatment, as well as dealing with the neuropsychiatric manifestations.
