About Jane Miller

My current work along with the great culture at SMART Technologies has been an amazing outlet for not only my experience, but also my passions and most natural strengths. The passion I bring to the work is to help individuals and companies thrive and achieve their goals. My aspiration is always to be a difference maker in these endeavours. The experience (well a chunk of it anyway) is listed elsewhere here. Study in the field of career development helped me really hone in on the natural strengths and interests I need to bring to my work in order to fully thrive. It wasn't always easy to put a finger on what really made me tick in this part of my life. It's an exercise I highly recommend and I thoroughly enjoy helping others gain this level of self-awareness, and strategizing about how best to leverage it. Who doesn't want to experience significant gratification and growth while they are making a living? Exploring assessment and strengths inventory tools helped me identify these intrinsic attributes. Now I understand why I view the workplace as my creative outlet, and why, when I am doing work that aligns with my personality, I am truly 'in the zone' where my work feels like my art.
