A seasoned corporate communications professional with nearly 30 years of experience delivering high-quality financial and ESG reporting for FTSE 100 companies. As a Partner at Black Sun, I oversee quality assurance, production, and delivery across major projects for leading organisations such as Aberdeen, NatWest, Rio Tinto, Adecco, and Antofagasta. With extensive expertise in the Workiva platform, I have spearheaded Black Sun’s strategy to become a Workiva Enhanced Design Partner, collaborating with Workiva to drive product innovation, beta testing new functionality, and ensuring seamless integration for our clients. My work extends beyond platform implementation – I also lead the development of designed reports and presentations for prominent brands, including Allfunds, Direct Line Group, IAG, Prudential, and Diageo. In addition to my Workiva expertise, I have been instrumental in the development of PrintConnect, our proprietary client editing platform, and specialise in designing complex MS Word layouts. I manage InDesign/InCopy workflows, CtrlPrint projects, and provide comprehensive training sessions for clients to maximise system efficiency. As a leader of a global production team, I focus on talent development, performance management, and strategic resourcing – ensuring optimal workflow, training, and recruitment to support high-quality outcomes. My proactive approach to third-party collaboration and project management helps streamline processes, enhance content consistency, and optimise reporting efficiency. Beyond my professional role, I am passionate about fitness, nutrition, and long-term health. I have climbed many mountains and completed multiple marathons and ultra-events, raising funds for charitable causes along the way.
