About Jane Robertson

I am an experienced manager/administrator of a public child welfare organization, currently leading a talented staff of 115. I am skilled in government relations, child welfare policy and practice, with special expertise in foster care, adoption and child sexual abuse, and am qualified to provide expert testimony in Court. I have a lengthy track record of training and supervising staff. I have been a Trainer on child welfare issues locally, nationally and internationally. I began my career as a front line child welfare worker and have progressed to supervisor, manager, Deputy Director and, currently, Interim Executive Director. I am creative-thinking social worker dedicated to the ideals of our profession, the role of government in protecting maltreated children and, as an administrator, developing the next generation of social workers.
