About Jane Rothman

After graduating from Drexel University, where I majored in Education and minored in Drama, I worked as an Associate Producer at KYW-TV in Philadelphia. I was responsible for booking guests, researching for each show and promotion. I have, also, done freelance work as an Associate Producer for NBC News and WPHL-TV. I continued my acting studies at the Walnut Street Theater and have appeared in numerous movies and commericals filmed locally in Philadelphia. I am a member of SAG-AFTRA I co-host a podcast on blogtalkradio with my friend and colleague, Tosha, called Chit Chat Chicks Live. The show, since its inception in July, 2012, has garnered over a million listeners. We focus on the latest in entertainment, music and the arts. Some of our past guests have included actors, Michael Rooker (The Walking Dead, Mississippi Burning, The Bone Collector), William McNamara (Copycat, Stealing Home, Chasers), Patrick Muldoon (Starship Troopers, Days of our Lives, Melrose Place), Erika Eleniak (Baywatch, many Lifetime movies) Terri Garber (Dynasty, North and South) Bruno Gunn (Hunger Games:Catching Fire) and screenwriter/director/producer, Allison Burnett (Gone, Undiscovered Gyrl, Fame, Autumn in New York) Udo Kier (Blade), Billy Drago (Untouchables), Norman Reedus (The Walking Dead), Tova Borgnine. Our show is approximately 60 mins in length and includes callers, if appropriate. We are spontaneous, relaxed, informal, making our guests feel at ease and comfortable. I am an avid photographer who finds beauty in everything. I have traveled with trips to the Middle East, Europe, Mexico, Canada.and regular visits to my two favorite cities, Los Angeles and New York. I am an advocate for adoption, animal rescue, and finding a cure for Multiple Sclerosis. My perfect day would be having brunch with good friends, curling up with a good book and watching classic movies.
