About Jane Sheard

Having discovered the vital importance of good quality Careers advice and guidance for young people mid way through my working life, I took the opportunity to retrain and work in what I can only describe as the most rewarding of professions. I am driven by a desire to enable all the young people I work with to realise their ambitions. A reflective practitioner I am constantly reviewing and researching new and better ways of ensuring young people are aware of the opportunities available to them. In a constantly changing world I am particularly interested in what the the future holds, both in terms of education and the world of work. I have been fortunate to work in a school that sees CEIAG as a priority and I have been instrumental in the school achieving 100% of The Gatsby Benchmarks and the Quality in Careers Standard.
