About Jane Shircliff

I have been working in the Bay Area for 25 years with agencies, corporations and startups to identify and understand problems, discover opportunities and create solutions. Experienced with: the end-to-end process of digital product design; using UCD methodology and Design Thinking techniques to create concepts and Experience Strategy; Agile, Lean and hybrid dev production processes; UX/Ix/UI design; experiments and data-driven optimization; design sprints, workshops and rapid prototyping & testing. I have worked at all stages of UX design from strategy to the detailed interactions of a UI for multiple different UI contexts. I plan and lead design process for cross-functional teams with collaborative techniques appropriate for the project goals to create design solutions from concepts through to UI design. I have experience in designing for consumer and two-sided (B2B+B2C) products and services including desktop applications, browser-based tools, mobile and cross-platform UXs. I have also designed for e-commerce, experiential marcom web sites and software tools (e.g, admin and settings UIs). I have worked with many different teams with their own interpretations of processes and am used to adapting and optimizing my techniques for different contexts. Within these varying contexts I employ User-Centered Design and Design Thinking techniques. Using these collaborative approaches my goal is to achieve the best of the team and the project, to find real value for the user and create highly usable and useful products/UXs.
