Current Work Project Summary: Closing a facility we have operated for over 70 years to include relocating employees, conducting furniture and equipment asset inventory, and coordinating final disposition for property. Supporting new corporate facility renovations, remodeling and building design. Managing new single or multi-use facility design/construction. Functional Responsibilities: Accountable for sustaining the construction, renovation and/or process improvement initiatives associated with Enterprise Facilities and Asset Management for CPS Energy. Provides proactive services to project teams, business customers, process management teams, and management with a focus on facilitating effective planning and oversight of projects. Establishes collaborative and strong relationships with operational leaders and decision makers throughout the organization and contractors/vendors to promote sound project managment principles. Responsibilities focus on tactical aspects of projects through planning, design and implementation, project delivery within budgetary constraints, various contract development and implementation, productivity improvement and process efficiency associated with work performed. Communicates effectively with internal and external customers at all levels and all levels within the CPS Energy organization. Participates in strategic team efforts and the development of goals and objectives. Manages project deliverables within established timeframes and milestones, including satisfaction of scope requirements, cost/budget adherence, schedule management, contract development, risk evaluation/mitigation, and quality management.
