Originally from Australia, I'm an accomplished finance professional and qualified accountant with 19+ years' experience who has worked in Europe since 2006. With a proven track record in management & financial reporting, business process improvement and stakeholder management, I am able to establish and deploy rigorous financial controls which drive excellence to reporting and governance functions. I thrive when starting on a project which is a melting pot of many moving financial parts and creating sense and order from them. I'm extremely skilled at management and financial reporting, compiling comprehensive reports using various systems for multiple stakeholders. A creative thinker and problem solver I am passionate about understanding the needs of report users and identifying simple and effective ways to collate, analyse and present information. I manage the end-to-end report production process for clients, internal governance, and statutory obligations: from data gathering and cleansing to drafting, editing and audit/compliance vetting. With a keen interest in process improvement, I’m continually striving to enhance the efficiency of reporting processes to improve both quality and timeliness. As such, I’ve worked in tandem with diverse stakeholders to develop practices and controls, improving reporting accuracy and completeness.My problem solving and analysis skills are highly developed. I’ve designed bespoke audit tests appropriate to individual audit assignments with Financial Services’ clients, created new reports and scoped processes and controls to a rapidly changing regulatory framework and product portfolios.My career successes to date have been founded on credible influencing – I manage to foster effective relationships in challenging environments filled with diverse stakeholder groups.I work well to deadlines and am comfortable in environments that change frequently.
