I am an accomplished business, retail, education and hospitality industry practitioner with over 30 years’ experience. My breadth and depth of experience is derived from working with management and staff to successfully turn around under performing businesses, lead teams, and to launch new businesses and ideas. Previously, my focus had been on starting, designing and running my own business, as well as consulting for other business's. Today, I have a broader focus on Education in the management arena and love what I do! I am a savvy business operator, who brings direct and relevant business and management experience. My achievements and experience demonstrate strengths in evaluating and managing both stores and individual performances, turning problems into business opportunities, and delivering tangible business benefits through project execution, “hands on” sales, operation management, workplace health and safety compliance, franchising and performance measurement. My business knowledge and industry expertise have been gained from exposure to multiple retail and hospitality businesses both here and overseas. My experience in manufacturing, import and export goods, multi site management and brand placement, has opened up a new area of interest, as well as industry exposure outside of the traditional hospitality and retail domain which I enjoy. I have well honed communication, training and people skills that ensure that I am successfully able to work with the relevant people to achieve desired results.
