About Jane Teszler

Jane Teszler is currently pursuing her undergraduate degree in Public Health B.S at the College of Charleston. Her passions involve disease prevention and educating the community on health, fitness, and wellness. Throughout her college career, Jane has held a number of part time jobs in the restaurant industry. Learning how to balance work, school, and a social life has helped her develop excellent organizational and time management skills. Furthermore, Jane has volunteered for the health educator at the College of Charleston where she researched and developed informative pamphlets through Microsoft Publisher to distribute to students and staff. She is currently an intern for the City of Charleston, which requires her to create monthly wellness newsletters using the program Constant Contact, which is distributed among City of Charleston employees. In addition, she has been exposed to numerous employee wellness programs and has helped with hosting the annual “All in for 10” weight loss challenge. After graduation, Jane plans to gain more experience in the public health field through working. Her ability to excel in school while balancing a job will help ensure that she is successful in whatever she may do in the upcoming future.
