About Jane Thompson

Health and movement is something I've always been drawn too. I am passionate about improving the knowledge and awareness of communities to empower them to lead happier and healthier lives. As a physiotherpist I work with clients daily to create this positive change. Since my career began I have developed a keen interest in women's health, rural and remote service provision as well as leadership and business management. My current role is with PHYZ X as Clinical Director. This position has provided me with the opportunity to develop my understanding of management and business. I have worked within multidisciplinary teams and played leadership roles in which I mentor clinical staff and students to ensure healthcare is first class. I have worked with clients and organizations to introduce injury prevention and management strategies in line with occ health legislation. I have also been involved in the implementation and development of chronic pain programs and its role out for clients, employers and insurers. I am a gentle and understanding therapist that is determined, innovative and hoping to lead healthcare services in an ever changing landscape.
